Here are the rules. Read and understand them.
1. Be civil and serious (except in non-serious sections). Please do not act like a self-important pseudo academic. Respect everyone's views, be friendly, appropriate, and don't attack others and be emotionally charged. Just stay friendly and good.
2. Don't swear. Swearing is never good. Ever. Please don't use those words, even if they are part of your everyday vocabulary. Try to find alternative words.
3. Use sarcasm sparingly. Sarcasm is sometimes not understood by others, and also, it can be considered rude. Sarcasm can be used very sparingly, and only use it in situations where it will be definitely understood.
4. Don't argue pointless things. We are all allies here. Please do not argue a point unless it is necessary. None of this 'But Pizza is better than Pasta' unless we are talking about cuisine.
5. Be constructive. Bring someone up rather than putting them down. Don't make a comment unless you are sure that it will be constructive. Constructive criticism is the best kind.
6. Listen to what the staff say. If a staff member tells you to stop something, it would help us if you do, thanks. Also, we are your friends, even so. If there is something needing reporting, report it.
Thanks for listening,
The admin team.
